Duperon Legacy Enterprises, LLC is an educational publishing and leadership development enterprise built on forty-seven years of urban school leadership across New Orleans and Philadelphia. We exist for one reason: to give school principals, district leaders, and educational communities the frameworks, the tools, and the honest language they need to lead with clarity, equity, and lasting impact.
Our work is grounded in something most leadership organizations cannot offer — the lived experience of a leader who built it in real buildings, with real children, under real conditions that no workshop fully prepares anyone for. Every framework we teach was proven before it was published.
Through YGD Publishing Company and the JazzFlow™ Framework, we deliver a complete leadership development ecosystem: books, workbooks, implementation guides, professional development workshops, and coaching designed to meet leaders exactly where they are and move them toward where their schools and communities need them to be.

Leadership Development & Training Programs
Our professional development programs are not designed around theory. They are designed around what actually happens in schools; the furious parent, the fragmented staff, the data that reveals an equity gap no one wants to name, the first year principal who walks into a building carrying a vision and a mandate and a team they did not choose.
We offer keynote presentations, half day and full day PD workshops, and district leadership development partnerships, each anchored by the JazzFlow™ Framework and delivered by an educator with forty-seven years of building level leadership experience. Every session ends with one thing: something the leader can do tomorrow morning.
YGD Publishing Company
YGD Publishing Company is the publishing imprint of Duperon Legacy Enterprises, LLC home of The Blueprint Legacy Series, a three volume narrative leadership trilogy unlike any other in educational publishing.
The trilogy guides principals through three stages of leadership development: the Ice Phase, the Liquid Phase, and the Steam Phase using jazz music and the living river as dual lenses for transformational school leadership. Each volume is paired with a leadership workbook companion, a complete set of implementation guides, and a professional development workshop series. The Blueprint Legacy Series does not tell principals what great leaders do. It shows them who great leaders become.
The JazzFlow™ Framework
The JazzFlow™ Framework is the instructional and leadership backbone of everything Duperon Legacy Enterprises produces. Built on seven pillars: Vision & Composition, Improvisation & Adaptive Leadership, Harmony & Collaboration, Rhythm & Consistency, Syncopation & Innovation, Ensemble & Team Development, and Performance & Accountability. The framework uses jazz music and the living river as dual metaphors for the stages of a principal’s growth.
Jazz because it is the American art form most characterized by the qualities great leadership requires: the ability to improvise from a foundation of deep preparation, to listen to the ensemble while leading it, and to hold the vision of the composition while remaining fully responsive to the moment.
The river because leadership is not static. It moves. It finds its way through complexity. And at its highest expression it becomes vapor. Permeating. Present everywhere. Sustaining what it built long after the leader has moved on.
